True Heroes

On  July 3rd 2016 I had a chance to meet with some awesome and powerful young Ladies at The Capitol Fourth PBS 2016 Celebration. From the moment I met them I was inspired and had an erg to want everyone to know. These young ladies show everyday what it means to be a superhero because they perform at their best and through all the obstacles they never let it stop them. I met with Rebecca Hart, Megan Blunk and Gail Gaeng ALL an inspiration. Having a child with a different ability I know what it means to be told what she will NEVER do but with Grace and Mercy we are able to have a new day everyday. I was coming in for the interview and these beautiful ladies instantly welcomed me in and I felt like part of the team. What team you might ask, I am talking about Team USA. These ladies will be representing Team USA at the 2016 Paralympics in Brazil. They are part of a team that will give all they can to bring home gold from Basketball to Equestrian and I can say this was something, I can say they were built for. People are given challenges in life but defines those who are exceptional is their willingness to fight through the naysayers. If you are feeling drained from everyday life I encourage you to tune in for the 2016 Paralympics and watch these ladies and all of the  Paralympic champions who are working to bring home the gold for you.
